The Thain 50 is a Rueul Parker inspired pilot house with a classic look. Whether you are an occasional cruiser, or want a beautiful nautical abode, this carefully crafted vessel will give your time on the water a timeless elegance.
Life aboard is comfortable and gracious. Your movement from one level to another is effortless, as stairs are few in number and the incline is easy. For convenience sake, there are two separate heads, each with its own stand-up shower. (And, if a different arrangement is desired, the Thain 50 can be customized to your specifications.)
This boat is designed for safety and efficiency! Moving at a comfortable 10-12 knots, you will enjoy cruising into both new and familiar waters, knowing that the hull of the Thain 50 is solidly and safely built, with a 1 ½" marine ply bottom and 1 sides, protected by a fiberglass overlay. With a 2 4 draft, the semi-displacement hull is not only great for protected-water exploring, but it is very easy on fuel. Additionally, the electrical systems are so efficient that a generator is optional.
